Test Kitchen / Meeting Rooms
Our Test Kitchens and Meeting Rooms are used by our customers for various gathers including Unit Manager Meetings and product knowledge / testing. These facilities are available in our London, Ottawa and Toronto operations. We would be pleased to offer these services to you.
 
E.D.I.
Summit Food Service Distributors has made a corporate commitment to the electronic transmission of business documents using electronic Data Interchange (E.D.I.). Summit believes that by using electronic communication, we will have the complete, timely and accurate data needed to further improve customer service and remain competitive.
 
Efficient Foodservice Response (EFR)
The food service industry has embarked on an important and ambitious project entitled E.F.R., Efficient Foodservice Response. It is a cost reduction initiative that involves all foodservice supply chain partners. The goal of E.F.R. is to develop a responsive, consumer-driven system in which all foodservice supply chain partners work together to maximize consumer value and minimize supply chain cost. Summit supports this initiative as it should reduce unnecessary costs and deliver value to our customers.
